With reference to Current Report No. 53/2020 of 9 December 2020, the ENEA S.A. Management Board hereby provides supplementary information on Mr. Rafał Marek Mucha, a newly appointed ENEA S.A. Management Board Member for Financial Matters.
Mr. Rafał Marek Mucha graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration and the Faculty of Economics of the University of Szczecin. He completed postgraduate studies in European project management, accounting and the real estate market as well as courses and seminars on financial analysis of enterprises, environmental protection and law. He is a certified accountant. He also completed Ph.D. studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Szczecin.
From 2016 to 2020, he was associated with the PGE Group. In 2020, he served as Vice-President of the Management Board for Financial Matters at PGE Górnictwo i Energetyka Konwencjonalna S.A. In 2016-2020, he worked as Deputy Branch Director and at the same time Economic and Financial Director at PGE GiEK S.A. - Dolna Odra Power Station.
In 2002-2016, he managed Przedsiębiorstwo Usług Komunalnych [Public Utility Company] in Gryfino, and from August to December 2012, he served as Director of the Laguna Aquapark in Gryfino. He also acquired professional experience in the banking sector, where he was predominantly involved in evaluation of the economic standing of enterprises for loan granting purposes, including debt restructuring. He ran his own business and cooperated with a law firm.
In 2015-2020, he taught economics-related classes at the Higher School of Public Administration in Szczecin, sharing his experience with future civil servants. From June to November 2019, he was a member of the Sejm.
According to his representation, Mr. Rafał Marek Mucha does not conduct any activity in any form that would compete with ENEA S.A., nor does he participate in any competing company as a partner in a civil or commercial law partnership or as a member of a governing body in a company, nor does he participate in any competing legal person as a member of any of its governing bodies. Mr. Rafał Marek Mucha is not listed in the Register of Insolvent Debtors kept pursuant to the National Court Register Act.
