Subject: Suspension of works on the Ostrołęka C project

The Management Board of ENEA S.A. ("Issuer") hereby informs that on 14 February 2020 the Issuer was informed that:
• on 14 February 2020 Elektrownia Ostrołęka sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Ostrołęka ("Company"), developing the Ostrołęka C Power Plant with a capacity of approx. 1,000 MW ("Project") submitted to the general contractor of the Contract for Ostrołęka C Power Plant Construction with a capacity of approx. 1,000 MW of 12 July 2018 ("Contract") an order to suspend all works related to the Contract, with the suspension becoming effective on 14 February 2020,
• on 14 February 2020 the Company submitted to the contractor of the Agreement for Redevelopment of the railway infrastructure for operational purposes of the Ostrołęka C Power Plant of 4 October 2019 ("Railway Contract") an order to suspend the performane of the Railway Contract, with the suspension becoming effective on 14 February 2020.
The reason for the suspension of works is the fact that the financing of the Project was suspended as a consequence of the Memorandum Concerning Further Actions in the Ostrołęka "C" Project concluded on 13 February 2020 between the Issuer and Energa S.A., of which the Issuer informed in Current Report No. 4/2020 of 13 February 2020.
