The Management Board of ENEA S.A. ("Company", "Issuer") hereby informs that today the Company received a statement of the Minister of State Assets dated 3 February 2020 on exercising by the Minister of State Assets of the right to appoint, pursuant to § 24 item 1 of the Company's Statute, a Member of the Supervisory Board of ENEA S.A.

In accordance with the above-mentioned right, Mr Bartosz Nieścior was appointed to the Company's Supervisory Board as of 3 February 2020.

Mr Bartosz Nieścior is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw in Law. He completed doctoral studies in legal sciences. He completed Post-Graduate Studies in Government and Local Government Administration at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw and LL.M. studies (in English) in International Commercial Law at Kozminski University in Warsaw. He obtained the Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) certificate. He has completed a number of business courses - Introduction to Global Business Leadership at New York University in the United States, and Business, International Relations and the Political Economy Certificate Course at London School of Economics.He has extensive professional experience working in government administration. He worked as Assistant and Advisor to a Member of the Council of Ministers in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, then as Deputy Director in the Regulatory Impact Assessment Department in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister and Director of the Minister's Office at the Ministry of the Environment. Currently, he serves as Deputy Director in the Department of Ownership Supervision I in the Ministry of State Assets. He worked as an academic lecturer at the University of Warsaw. Author of more than 10 scientific publications in Polish and international journals and speaker at many conferences in Poland and abroad.

Pursuant to the representation made, Mr Bartosz Nieścior has not conducted, in any form, any competitive activity towards ENEA S.A. He has not participated in any competitive company as a partner of a civil company, as a partner of a partnership or a member of an authority of a joint stock company and has not participated in any other competitive legal person as a member of its bodies. Mr Bartosz Nieścior is not listed in the Register of Insolvent Debtors kept based on the Act on the National Court Register.
