In relation to the current report No. 30/2017 dated 24 August 2017 the Management Board of Enea S.A. (Company) hereby attaches the additional information as regards the education, qualification and formerly held positions, including the description of the professional experience of Mr. Rafał Szymański, the Member of the Supervisory Board, delegated to temporarily serve as the Member of the Management Board for Corporate Affairs of Enea S.A.
Rafał Szymański graduated from the University of Warmia and Mazury majoring in Ecological Engineering and from Post-graduate Studies on the Functioning of the Energy Market at the Warsaw School of Economics. He also graduated from numerous trainings on project management, analysis of economic and financial situations and economic positions of companies. He was nominated into the Supervisory Board of Enea S.A. on 2 July 2015. He is currently serving as the Secretary of the Supervisory Board and the Chairman of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
From 2012 he was connected with the Ministry of Treasury, where he held e.g. the position of the Head of the Department supervising the power sector companies owned by the State Treasury. Formerly, he gained his professional experience in the Ministry of Environment where he was responsible for the issues relating to e.g. the emission of greenhouse gases and international negotiations within this scope.
Mr. Rafał Szymański is employed at the Supervision Department of the Ministry of Energy. His professional duties include e.g. ownership supervision of State Treasury companies.
As part of his professional duties he is responsible for the supervision of the whole of economic and legal issues related to the operations of State Treasury companies from the energy sector and an analysis, preparation and execution of the ownership supervision over State Treasury companies and drafting ownership decisions in relation to supervised companies. Apart from the execution of regular supervision activities he additionally prepares and analyses a range of issues and documents connected with the functioning of the power sector.
According to his statement, Mr. Rafał Szymański has not conducted, in any form, any competitive activity towards Enea S.A., and has not participated in any competitive company as a partner of a civil company, as a partner of a partnership or a member of an authority of a joint stock company and has not participated in any other competitive legal person as a member of its bodies. Mr. Rafał Szymański is not listed in the Register of Insolvent Debtors maintained based on the act on KRS (National Court Register).
