Changes in the Management Board of Enea SA

On 24 August, the Supervisory Board of Enea SA has decided to recall Wiesław Piosik and Mikołaj Franzkowiak from the Management Board. Wiesław Piosik served as the vice-president of the management board for corporate affairs, while Mikołaj Franzkowiak was the vice-president of the management board for financial affairs.

At the same time, the Supervisory Board has delegated its member Rafał Szymański to serve on the Management Board. He will be the provisional vice-president for corporate affairs. It was also decided to launch a recruitment process for the positions of Board Member for Corporate Affairs and Board Member for Financial Affairs.

Rafał Szymański is employed at the Supervision Department of the Ministry of Energy. As part of his professional duties, he is responsible for, among other matters, supervision over State Treasury companies. He has previously served at the Ministry of State Treasury, where he was employed, among other positions, as Head of the Department supervising power industry companies in which the State Treasury holds stakes.

Rafał Szymański has graduated from the University of Warmia and Mazury, majoring in Ecological Engineering and has completed Post-Graduate Studies on the Functioning of the Energy Market at the Warsaw School of Economics. He was appointed to the Supervisory Board of Enea SA on 2 July 2015. He is currently serving as the Secretary of the Supervisory Board and the Chairman of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

Having in mind the diverse and international nature of Enea SA's shareholding, and also the provisions of the Best Practices of WSE Listed Companies, Enea SA guarantees the availability of its website also in English. In case of any interpretation doubts and discrepancies between the Polish and English versions, the Polish version shall prevail.
