The Management Board of Enea S.A. ("Company") is announcing that on 24 August 2017, the Supervisory Board of the Company has adopted resolutions on the dismissal from the Management Board of the Company of Mr. Wiesław Piosik, Member of the Management Board for Corporate Affairs and Mr. Mikołaj Franzkowiak, Member of the Management Board for Financial Affairs. The resolutions enter into force on the date of adoption. Supervisory Board of the Company did not state the reasons for the dismissal of the above persons.

At the same time, the Supervisory Board of the Company has delegated, on the same date, Supervisory Board Member, Mr. Rafał Szymański, to temporarily serve as the Member of the Management Board for Corporate Affairs of Enea S.A. for a period not exceeding three months, until the appointment of a new Member of the Management Board for Corporate Affairs of Enea S.A. At today's meeting of the Supervisory Board it was also decided to launch recruitment process for the positions of Member of the Management Board for Corporate Affairs and Member of the Management Board for Financial Affairs.

Mr. Rafał Szymański is employed at the Supervision Department of the Ministry of Energy. As part of his professional duties he is responsible for, among others, supervision over State Treasury companies. He has previously served at the Ministry of State Treasury, where he was employed as, among others, Head of the Department supervising power industry companies in which the State Treasury holds stakes.

Mr. Rafał Szymański has graduated from the University of Warmia and Mazury, majoring in Ecological Engineering and has completed Post-graduate Studies on the Functioning of the Energy Market at the Warsaw School of Economics.

He was appointed to the Supervisory Board of Enea S.A. on 2 July 2015. He is currently serving as the Secretary of the Supervisory Board and the Chairman of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
