Press release concerning the conclusion of a deadline amending annex to the agreement for the power unit construction in Kozienice Power Plant

Enea Wytwarzanie and the Consortium of Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Europe and Polimex-Mostostal concluded the deadline amending annex to the agreement for the power unit construction in Kozienice Power Plant. The annex extends the performance time relating to the implementation of investment until 19 December 2017.

The shift of the completion date by about five months stems from reasons beyond the control of the parties of the Agreement. The execution of the annex does not amend the value of the agreement signed with the Consortium of Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Europe and Polimex-Mostostal.

The 1,075 MW modern supercritical unit in Kozienice Power Plant is in an advanced stage of construction. The investment consisting of about 30 000 specific tasks has been completed in more than 93 per cent.
