Krzysztof Figat a new president of Enea Wytwarzanie

The Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of Enea Wytwarzanie on Friday nominated Krzysztof Figat to the position of the President of the Company. Jan Mazurkiewicz will also become a member of the management board who will hold the position of the Vice-president for Corporate Affairs of Enea Wytwarzanie responsible for the generation of energy and heat in the Group.  Krzysztof Figat and Jan Mazurkiewicz will hold their positions on 17 October 2016.

Krzysztof Figat, President of the Board of Enea Wytwarzanie, has been connected with the power industry for many years. He studied at the Lublin University of Technology on the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, where he was awarded the degree of the Master of Engineering, specialising in power engineering. He is also a graduate of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin, faulty of Economics and Organisation of Production were he was awarded the Master of Economics degree. Krzysztof Figat recently has held the position of the Vice-president for Economic and Financial Affiars in PGNiG Termika, formerly he was the president of Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyczne in Siedlce. During his professional career he supervised the investment and repair works in the power sector.

Jan Mazurkiewicz, Vice-president for Corporate Affairs, holds experience in managing enterprises and organisations. Graduated form the Central School of Planning and Statistics in Warsaw (currently the Warsaw School of Economics - SGH) - holds the Master of Economics degree. During his professional career he was the president of Gas-Trading and Radomskie Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej Radpec.

At the same time, the Meeting on Friday recalled, as of 1 October 2016, Wacław Bilnicki from the Management Board of Enea Wytwarzanie.

Earlier, on 29 September, Elżbieta Piwoński resigned from the membership in the Management Board.

Until 16 October, Dawid Klimczak delegated from the Supervisory Board will remain the President of the Board of Enea Wytwarzanie.
