Baczyna: Enea's new wind farm

Enea Wytwarzanie strengthens its capacity from renewable sources. The company commissioned a new Baczyna wind farm with the capacity of 14.1 MW. Enea Serwis was engaged in its construction, and electricity generated by the farm goes to the distribution network of Enea Operator.  

The project is located in Lubno in Lubiszyn municipality in Lubuskie province. Baczyna wind farm comprises six 2.35 MW power plants and towers of 104 m each. The anticipated annual electricity production will amount to over 30 thou. MWh. This is the volume of energy needed by over 10 thousand households.

The implementation of the investment brought also benefits to the local community of Lubiszyn municipality. During the construction of the farm a district road was renovated on the length of 2.6 km.

The commissioned wind farm is Enea’s another investment in the area of renewable energy. Enea Wytwarszanie holds two more wind farms: Darżyno with the capacity of 6 MW and Bardy with the capacity of 50 MW and 21 hydropower plants with the total installed capacity of 60.43 MW.
