Enea opened a modern Customer Service Centre in the monumental transformer station

On Monday, 4 April, Enea opened a new Customer Service Centre (CSC) in Szczecin. The modern room with 14 stands offers comfortable conditions and swift service. The place in which a new CSC was opened is special - it is a monumental power substation built at the beginning of the 20th century in the high class residential area in Szczecin.

Enea’s new office in Szczecin is located in the city centre in the localisation which is comfortable for Customers at  74 Wojska Polskiego street. The CSC includes 14 servicing stands which are supported with a modern queueing system. There is also a play zone for children, and tablets - one may connect to the website of Enea and eCSC application. The interior of the building was arranged with Enea’s Customers in mind - it is spacious and comfortable.

- CSC in Szczecin is located in an exceptional place. The building is an architectural gem and has a special history. The object was developed in 1913 as a power substation, however it did not resemble any industrial objects from that time, and was closer to the architecture of the nearby villas. Thus, as an energy company, we are more than glad that we could restore the past glamour to the monument and breathe a new life into this space - says Łukasz Pawłowski, vice-president of Enea Centrum, a company dealing with Customer service in Eena Group.

- Although the CSC building comes from many tears ago, its interior is an example of modernness. The whole was designed in accordance with the existing trends and pressure on guaranteeing comfort and service efficiency for our Customers. The office is equipped with e.g. the latest computer hardware and ergonomic seating places - adds Łukasz Pawłowski.

The former substation operated to 1945 and converted alternating current into direct current. In 1945 the building changed its function to the so called batteryroom. Today it has been the location for the editorial team of one of the local newspapers. In 2015 Enea decided to adapt the building for the Customer Service Centre and restore the past glamour to the object. The works connected with the launching of the new CSC were launched in August 2015. The building required renovation and modernisation. The area around the object has also been developed - e.g. a parking lot was built for Enea’s Customers.

The building with its architecture blends with the neighbourhood of luxurious palace-like villas which are characteristic for this district of Szczecin. The previous industrial object was developed in neoclassical forms with modernistic elements, visible especially on the facade. After the reconstruction, there are five usable levels in the building – says Wojciech Krawczuk of Front Architects, the office responsible for the preparation of the object modernisation and adaptation design.

One of the interesting things is the space around the former substation with e.g. preserved monumental balustrade in the customer service hall - this is one of the original elements of the equipment which has been present in the object from the moment of its establishment – adds Krawczuk.

The new CSC at Wojska Polskiego street will ultimately take over the whole service of Customers from Szczecin. Enea announces that it will be an evolutionary process.

Obsolete offices operating at Derdowskiego street and Eskadrowa street even after repairs could not guarantee comfort we may offer in the new office – informs Michał Mierzwa, director of the Customer Service Centre in  Enea Centrum.

Along with the opening of the new office at Wojska Polskiego street the centre at Derdowskiego street which was equipped with fewer stand by 5 than in the new office, is closed. In the transitional period the CSC at Eskadrowa street will still service Enea’s Customers.

– The office will not be closed overnight, and Customers will be informed on the planned changes in advance – assures Michał Mierzwa.

On the first day of work the Customers visiting the Szczecin site were welcomed with circumstantial decorations, hostesses with small treats and attractions for children.

Apart from the office in Szczecin, in recent months Enea has completely redecorated CSCs in e.g. Poznań and Bydgoszcz. The objects are decorated in a similar way and guarantee the same comfort of service.

CSC will be open on Mondays and Thursdays from 8.00 a.m. to 5 p.m., on the other business days from 8.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.

For a long time, a personal visit is no longer necessary in the Customer Service Centre. Most standard matters may be dealt with via hotline 611 111 111 and on-line at www.eBOK.enea.pl.
