Changes in Enea Operator’s authorities

Two new members were nominated into the Management Board of Enea Operator as of 1 April. Wojciech Drożdż became the Vice-President for Economic and Financial Affairs, and Dariusz Szymczak the Vice-President for Distribution Service. Marek Lelątko retires from the management board.

Wojciech Drożdż is an associate professor, habilitated doctor of economic sciences and a graduate of the University of Szczecin, Poznań University of Economics and University of Warsaw. He specialises in the energy economics and energy security management, international economic relations and international logistics. He is the head of the Chair of the World’s Economy in the University of Szczecin, the author of several dozen scientific publications on energy security, infrastructural financing and transport infrastructure, including industrial transport, and the co-author of the strategy of development for maritime economy enterprises. He received the award of the Minister of Economy for the best habilitation thesis on power engineering. He was an employee of the National Centre for Strategic Studies, the head of a department in the marshal's office, and during 2008-2014 a member of the management board and vice-marshal of Zachodniopomorskie Province for infrastructure. Connected with Enea Group for a year, recently as the adviser for Enea Trading management board.

Dariusz Szymczak is a legal counsel, a graduate of the Adam Mickiewicz University of Poznań, Poznań University of Economics, and also the Training Centre for the Staff of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Institut fur Mittelstansforschung of Uniwersitat Mannheim. In Poznań, he runs the Office of a Legal Counsel, has a long experience in management, sat in numerous management boards and supervisory boards. During e.g. 2007-2008 he was the president of Enea Group company, BHU, which currently operates under the name of Enea Logistyka. He is a councillor in the regional parliament in Wielkopolskie Province.

The president of Enea Operator is still Michał Jarczyński, and the vice-president: Marek Szymankiewicz. Jakub Kamyk holds the position of a vice-president elected by Employees, who was re-elected to this position.

Having in mind the diverse and international nature of Enea SA's shareholding, and also the provisions of the Best Practices of WSE Listed Companies, Enea SA guarantees the availability of its website also in English. In case of any interpretation doubts and discrepancies between the Polish and English versions, the Polish version shall prevail.
