Warsaw Stock Exchange introduced futures for Enea shares

On 3 December 2015 WSE traded new futures for shares of 6 companies: Enea, Energa, Bank Millennium, BZ WBK, Cyfrowy Polsat and CCC. After the extension of the offer on the Warsaw stock exchange 27 contracts are listed for single shares.

For all the new contracts the multiplier is 100 (100 shares are allocated to each contract). Bank Millennium is an exception and has 1,000 shares allocated for one futures contract. The contract value is calculated as the product of the contract price and the multiplier. For the price of a share of each company 3 series of futures contracts were introduced, which expire, respectively, on 18 December 2015, 18 March 2016 and 17 June 2016.

The decision on the introduction of new products is WSE's reply to  to the growing interest of investors in contracts for single shares. From January until the end of November 2015 the trading volume totalled to 942 thou. contracts and was higher by over 62% than in the whole 2014.
