Million for innovators (Million in mind)

Million zloty for the development of technology is the award in ENERGY + !nnovations competition, which was announced during the Energi@ 21 Congress in Poznań which ended yesterday. The task of its participants will be proposing the best innovative idea which will be finally applied in Enea Group. It is Eena that is the strategic partner in ENERGY + !nnovations competition.

- We cannot imagine the future of the energy sector without innovations - said the President of Enea, Krzysztof Zamasz on the opening of the Congress in Poznań. - We want to build and strengthen the relations between science and business. We believe that their good and close cooperation is a prerequisite for the development and growth of innovation. I am happy, that as the first energy group we developed and launched a Polish wide competition for innovators, due to which they will be able to realise their ideas.

The Competition, organised by the Innovation and New Technology Committee of the Polish Chamber of Commerce, is a great chance for innovators and inventors who, having solid ideas at their disposal, received a possibility of implementing their innovative solutions and achieving a commercial success.

The idea put forward to the competition should satisfy the criteria of a technology which innovative and competitive for the power sector in the area of generation, distribution and sales, compliant with Enea Group's strategy and in TRL 4-6 development stage (optimally in the stage of technology testing). It is also important to develop it and implement in the perspective of 2-3 years maximally.

The award in the competition is financing in the amount of PLN 1,000,000.00 for the development of one's own technology which is innovative for the power sector, possibility of its testing in Enea Group's structures, business support of GIZA Polish Ventures fund and technological support of the Polish Institute of Research and Development.

The partners of the competition are: National Centre for Research and Development (www.ncbir.pl), Polish Institute of Research and Development (pibir.pl), GIZA Polish Ventures Fund (gpventures.pl).
