ENEA will buy gas from Orlen
ENEA Trading signed a frame agreement for a bulk-buy of gaseous fuel from PKN Orlen. The goal of the cooperation is optimisation of costs of obtaining gas for end Consumers. In spring, ENEA S.A. intends to present the offer for sales of the blue fuel directed at small and medium enterprises.
The both concerns actively participate in the development and liberalisation of the gas market in Poland. ENEA Capital Group already possesses necessary licences for trading in gaseous fuels, and its company responsible for the wholesale trade is a member of the Polish Power Exchange on the gas market.
"Commencing cooperation with the largest fuel concern in Poland means a possibility for us to diversify the supplies of the gaseous fuel for end users. From our point of view the most important are: competitive price and reliability of supplies, and that is what PKN Orlen is able to offer us" - assesses Grzegorz Kinelski, Vice-President of the Board of ENEA S.A. for Commercial Affairs.
ENEA and PKN Orlen cooperate in various fields. E.g. the company from Poznań is one of the sellers of electricity to Orlen CG.
Soon, ENEA S.A. will offer gas to its Customers in the formula of combined sales of electricity and gas (so called dual-fuel). The first offer will be directed at small and medium enterprises. It will be competitive in relation to other offers of other companies selling natural gas.
