ENEA Capital Group has a new corporate strategy for 2014-2020

ENEA will become a fully integrated energy group. It will flexibly react to market needs and effectively manage the resources. Its new mission is the Group's value growth through building customer confidence. For 2014-2020 it plans investments in the amount of PLN 20 bln.

The development scenario for the Group assumes that the superior idea of the Group's operations is building the value for shareholders and ensuring energy safety for customers. Strategic goals are: building long-lasting customer relations, growth in profitable areas, higher efficiency and optimum use of the organisation potential. It e.g. means: concentration of operations on the power engineering market and development in all the value energy chain, supported through market acquisitions. The goal is also the Group's full operating integration and better efficiency of its functioning.

The path of growth in profitable areas will be realised through the development of a competitive generation portfolio. The Group wants to increase its capacities by 1,075 MWe in the segment of system power plants (completion of the construction of unit No. 11 in Kozienice in 2017), by ca. 500 MWe from energy renewable sources and by ca. 300 MWe and 1,500 MWt in cogeneration sources and heating networks. The choice of the fuel for cogeneration units will be a derivative of the analysis of economic attractiveness of particular undertakings. ENEA also wants to invest in the distribution and increase margins both in the area of sales and wholesale.

Realisation of investments planned during 2014-2020 requires incurring total outlays in the amount of PLN 20 bln. They will be covered from the equity and obtained debt financing.

The Steering Committee developing the strategy was composed of representatives of management boards of key Group companies. The works lasted for 3 months - from July 2013. The Supervisory Board of ENEA S.A. approved the new "Corporate Strategy of ENEA Capital Group for 2014-2020" on 18 October 2013.
