Reinforcing the unit's foundations in Kozienice

The flagship investment project of the ENEA Group has reached an important stage: the construction of a new 1,075 MW power unit in Świerże Górne.

The construction of the new power unit in the Kozienice Power Plant is accelerating. With the kind of ground that occurs in the potential construction site of the new generation unit, piling for the foundations is necessary.

The project in Mazowsze means not only more capacity, but also more jobs. At present, more than 100 people work on the construction site. As works are progressing, the number of employees may increase up to 2,500. After the unit is included in the National Power System in 2017, as planned, operation of the unit will allow approx. 250 people to find a job.

When the project is completed, ENEA Wytwarzanie S.A. will be proud to have the largest and the most advanced coal-fired plant.
