ENEA S.A. signed a contract for the supply and implementation of a new billing system

The concluded contract is a result of the tender procedure in which the best offer was made by a leading supplier of IT solutions in Poland, Infovide-Matrix. Pursuant to the contract the system supplier shall design, construct and implement a comprehensive IT platform in the area of a widely understood customer service of all the tariff groups, settlements and management of customer relations (CRM) and shall ensure a complex and modern hardware infrastructure.

The investment of ENEA S.A. in the modern billing system and CRM class tools results from strategic plans of a reconstruction of the sale and customer settlement handling processes and further strengthening of ENEA S.A.'s position on the energy market. New tools will allow our company to expand its offer with new products and services, efficient customer settlements, application of advanced mechanisms of their keeping and gaining, and a more effective cooperation with present and potential business partners – emphasises Katarzyna Mińkowska, acting Director of the Sales Department in ENEA S.A.

This is the first project of this type realised in the energy sector in Poland and unique on a European scale.  Thanks to its realisation ENEA S.A. will gain one of the most modern global IT solutions supporting the core business operations of the Company. Innovations within the IT area constitute a field of strategic investments constituting one of the key elements of building competitive advantage.

Full implementation of the new system is predicted for 24 months of the execution of the contract. The project will be realised in stages and assumes a gradual implementation of particular system functions.

The key elements of the IT Customer Service System include:

  • billing system and CRM - being the key components of the implemented solution,
  • internal integration system,
  • reporting system,
  • business partner relationship management platform (PRM),
  • self-service platform for customers of ENEA S.A.,
  • and Call Center platform.

Having in mind the diverse and international nature of Enea SA's shareholding, and also the provisions of the Best Practices of WSE Listed Companies, Enea SA guarantees the availability of its website also in English. In case of any interpretation doubts and discrepancies between the Polish and English versions, the Polish version shall prevail.
