ENEA Wytwarzanie S.A. obtained an Integrated Management System certificate

On 21 June 2012 ENEA Wytwarzanie S.A.  received a certificate confirming compliance of the Integrated Quality Management System, Environmental System and Occupational safety and hygiene system implemented in the Company with the requirements of the following standards: ISO 9001; ISO 14001; PN 18001 and OHSAS 18001 within generation and trade in electricity and generation, transmission and distribution of heat.

A decision on implementation in the Company of a system being complaint with international management standards was a natural consequence of pro-quality and pro-ecological activities being realised for years within the area of generation of electricity and heat.
The process of system implementation was commenced in September 2009. The first stage of works was completed on the turn of 2010 and 2011 with implementation of system documentation. In 2011 internal audits and the first review of the management were performed. Based on the result of a two-stage certification audit conducted in January and April 2012 auditors of an independent Certification Body, Bureau Veritas Certification Polska Sp. z o.o., recommended the evaluated system for certification.

The awarded certificate is mainly a huge distinction for all of us and an award for our efforts but also constitutes an obligation to further improve the implemented system. For Clients and Partners it is a confirmation of our care not only for the product quality but consideration of the natural environment and occupational safety and hygiene as well. In face of the commenced consolidation of generating units in the Capital Group, the implemented Integrated Management System will strengthen our position on the market as a leader among electricity producers.
