Integration of the area of generation in the ENEA Capital Group

Within the Project of Generation Integration, on 25 May 2012 Elektrownia "Kozienice" S.A. changed its name to ENEA Wytwarzanie S.A. and simultaneously became a centre of energy competence in the ENEA Capital Group within energy and heat generation.  As a result of this change the role and meaning of the Power Plant in Kozienice has substantially increased as a leader of the whole project.

In relation to the realised Group's strategy, all the investments of the ENEA Group concerning purchases and take-overs of entities generating electricity and heat, and also gaining new finished installations and projects and own energy sources under construction, will be included into ENEA Wytwarzanie S.A. and managed by it.

Establishment of ENEA Wytwarzanie S.A. will allow the Group to achieve an effective organisational model and increase the value of the whole Group as well.

The ENEA Capital Group's strategy anticipates development in the area of generation of energy based on conventional, renewable and cogeration sources.  At present energy and heat generation in the ENEA CG is conducted in seven subsidiaries. They are:

• the Power Plant in Kozienice,

• Elektrownie Wodne Sp. z o.o.,

• Elektrocieplownia Bialystok S.A.,

• MEC Pila Sp. z o.o.,

• PEC Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Oborniki,

• Windfarm Polska Sp. z o.o.,

• Dobitt Energia Sp. z o.o.

The leader of the whole segment of generation and leader of integration of generating companies in ENEA S.A. is the Power Plant in Kozienice, which having changed the name into ENEA Wytwarzanie S.A., as the largest and most experienced energy producer in the Group, will manage the generation of electricity and heat in the whole ENEA Group.
