Kozienice modernise their units

The Kozienice Power Plant will modernise the turbine sets on units 3 and 6. Alston Power and Metal Expert consortium will perform the modernisation.  Parts of steam turbines will be improved. The modernisation will enable lowering of a unit consumption of heat by 120 kJ/kWh and increase in the electric power by min. 3 MW for each unit.  Re-commissioning of the modernised unit no 3 is planned till 23 August 2012. Unit no 6 will undergo modernisation till 6 December 2012. The undertaking will cost almost PLN 30 mln net.
