Conclusion of the competition for a Member of the Board for Commercial Issues of ENEA S.A.

The Supervisory Board of ENEA S.A. on 24 February 2012 unanimously adopted a resolution on the selection to the position of the Member of the Board for Commercial Issues of ENEA S.A. of Mr. Janusz Bil.

Janusz Bil recently has been the President of Inter Energia S.A.  During 2007-2011 he was a director for market regulation and development of Vattenfall  Poland. At the same time, during 2007-2009, as a representative of minority shareholders (e.g. Vattenfall), he was a member of the Supervisory Board of the Polish Power Exchange. During 2004-2007 Sales Director in Vattenfall Heat Poland, 2003-2004 Regulatory Director in RWE Polska.  Since 2002 member of the board, Marketing and Trade Director in Stoen S.A. In 1998-2002 he worked in the Energy Regulatory Office as a specialist in the tariff department and as the Head of the Division. Earlier, from 1995 he was connected with Zaklad Energetyczny Lodz-Teren (presently PGE).

Janusz Bil is a graduate of the Lodz University of Technology, MSc. Eng., Electrical Power Engineering and Lodz University - Master of Economics. His employment in ENEA S.A. will commence on 19 March 2012.  He will be responsible for preparation of the Company for action in the circumstances of increasing competitiveness on the retail energy market, building of effectively functioning sales and modern customer service.

The Supervisory Board made the choice according to the Good Practices within selection of candidates for members of the Company's bodies with key importance for the State Treasury and with assistance of a counselling company.

Having in mind the diverse and international nature of Enea SA's shareholding, and also the provisions of the Best Practices of WSE Listed Companies, Enea SA guarantees the availability of its website also in English. In case of any interpretation doubts and discrepancies between the Polish and English versions, the Polish version shall prevail.
