Information on the tariffs for 2012 for households

On 16 December 2011 the President of the Energy Regulatory Authority issued a decision approving 'Tariff for for electricity for the G tariff group set in the following packages:  HOME, PRE-PAID' of ENEA S.A. for 2012 for clients from households connected to the grid of ENEA Operator Sp. z o.o. for which ENEA S.A. renders a comprehensive service. With the decisions of 16 and 19 December 2011 the President of ERA also approved a new 'Tariff for the electricity distribution services' ENEA Operator Sp. z o.o. for 2012.

For the clients from G11 tariff group who using the comprehensive service consume 3000 kWh of electricity annually, introduction of new tariffs of ENEA S.A. and ENEA Operator Sp. z o.o. means a change of payments by 5.3 per cent, which translates into an increase in the monthly fee for electricity by PLN 6.08 net. For the clients from the same tariff group using 1800 kWh annually the change is at the level of 4.8 per cent, i.e. PLN 3.54 net monthly.

For clients from G12 tariff group who using the comprehensive service consume 3000 kWh of electricity annually the amount of fees shall change by 5.0 per cent, which means that it will be higher by PLN 5.39 net monthly. The clients from the same tariff group using 5000 kWh annually in 2012 will pay for electricity by 5.2 per cent more which translates into an increase of a monthly payment by 8.97 per cent.

23 per cent VAT should be added to all the rates.

New energy prices for households enter into force on 1 January 2012. 'Tariff for the energy distribution service' shall enter into force on 1 January 2012 within the rates of transitory fees and on 3 January 2012 within the remaining rates of fees.
