ENEA Operator in the Association of European Operators of Distribution Systems
On the April 30, 2011 the General Assembly of EDSO for smart grids decided to accept the ENEA Operator to the association.
EDSO for Smart Grids is an international non-profit association uniting operators of distribution systems (ODS). It was founded in March 2010 by 11 companies from a distribution branch (electricity, natural gas). Currently it has over 20 members from 16 EU countries, who reach over 50% of the measuring systems - about 124 million customers.
The purpose of the EDSO for Smart Grids is organization, leadership and strengthening cooperation between European ODS, promoting and coordination of their role in the development and implementation of intelligent networks.
EDSO for Smart Grids is one of three industry partners )along with Smart Grids Forum and ENTSO-E) invited by the European Commission under the SET-Plan (plan for strategic technologies in the energy sector) to collaborate on The European Electricity Grid Initiative.
Having in mind the diverse and international nature of Enea SA's shareholding, and also the provisions of the Best Practices of WSE Listed Companies, Enea SA guarantees the availability of its website also in English. In case of any interpretation doubts and discrepancies between the Polish and English versions, the Polish version shall prevail.
