The Management Board of ENEA S.A. (the Issuer) announces that on 12 January 2010 it was notified that the President of the Energy Regulatory Office (the President of the URE) has approved the Electricity Tariff for the G set of tariff groups for 2010. The level of costs deemed by the President of the URE to be justified is lower than the Issuer expected on the basis of quotations of contracts for 2010 on the electricity wholesale market. Pursuant to applicable provisions of law, new tariffs can come into force no earlier than 14 days after they are published in the industry bulletin of the President of the URE. Decisions on approving new tariffs are published in the industry bulletin of the President of the URE, which is available on the Energy Regulatory Office’s website at www.ure.gov.pl.
