The Management Board of ENEA S.A. (the Issuer) announces that on 5 January 2009, the Issuer was informed of the President of the URE’s (Energy Regulatory Authority) approval of the tariff for electrical energy for 2009 in the G tariff groups. The level of costs considered as justified by the President of the URE is lower than that anticipated by the Issuer on the basis of contracts concluded on the wholesale market. In accordance with the binding regulations, the new tariffs can enter into force no earlier than 14 days after their publication in the industry sector bulletin of the President of the URE. Decisions concerning the approval of new tariffs are published in the industry sector bulletin of the President of the URE placed on the website of the URE at www.ure.gov.pl
