In 1995, he earned his master’s degree from the Faculty of History at the Zielona Góra Pedagogical University (currently, the Tadeusz Kotarbiński Pedagogical University in Zielona Góra).

In 2000, he completed his postgraduate studies in Document Examination at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Wrocław. A graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, where he earned a Master of Business Administration degree, enhanced with postgraduate studies in Internal Audit and Management Control in Public Finance Sector Entities.

From 1996 to 2014, he held managerial positions in the Police and the Internal Security Agency (ABW), most recently as Advisor to the Head of the Internal Security Agency. From 2006 to 2008, he served as Deputy Director of the Department of Security and Public Order at the Ministry of the Interior and Administration and oversaw the practical implementation of the Act on the Modernization of Public Order Services. He held the position of Secretary of the Interministerial Task Force on Terrorist Threats. From 2012 to 2016, he headed the Department of Security and Information Protection at Polska Spółka Gazownictwa sp. z o.o. and the Department of Protection and Security at Polska Wytwórnia Papierów Wartościowych S.A. From 2016 to 2020, he served as President of the TBU Management Board and a member of the SOMNUS Management Board. Since 2018, he has been running a business rendering business security consulting services.

He holds a PRINCE2 Foundation certificate in Project Management.

In April 2015, he passed the state examination for candidates for members of supervisory boards in State Treasury-owned companies.

He is a member of the Supervisory Boards of several State Treasury-owned companies: Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A. and CENTROZŁOM Wrocław S.A. (KGHM Metraco S.A.).

Scope of competence: oversees and coordinates all aspects related to security, administration, occupational health and safety and environmental protection.
