The Management Board of ENEA S.A. ("Issuer") hereby reports that on 20 April 2022 the Issuer's Supervisory Board adopted a resolution to appoint Mr. Paweł Majewski, effective as of 25 April 2022, to the position of Acting President of the ENEA S.A. Management Board for the joint term of office commenced on the date of holding the Ordinary General Meeting of ENEA S.A. which approved the financial statements for 2018.
Hereinbelow, the Issuer provides information on the education, qualifications and positions held previously by Mr. Paweł Majewski along with a description of his professional career.
Mr. Paweł Majewski graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University and completed postgraduate Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) studies at the Warsaw Management University.
He is an executive with extensive experience in managing commercial companies, including enterprises with an equity stake held by the State Treasury. Until 8 April 2022, he served as President of the Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo S.A. Management Board. Previously, he held the positions of President of the Grupa LOTOS S.A. Management Board, Vice-President of the Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. Management Board, Management Board Member at DO & CO Poland Sp. z o.o. and President of the Airport Cleaning Service Sp. z o.o. Management Board. He has also acquired extensive professional experience in managerial positions, including at PETROLOT Sp. z o.o. (currently: ORLEN Aviation Sp. z o.o.) and as the Director of the Variable Margin and Production Management Division at PGNiG TERMIKA S.A.
Moreover, according to his representation, Mr. Paweł Majewski serves as a Supervisory Board Member at Polski Holding Nieruchomości S.A. and S.G.T. EUROPOLGAZ Sp. z o.o., but does not conduct any activity in any form that would compete with ENEA S.A., nor does he participate in any competing company as a partner in a civil or commercial law partnership or as a member of a governing body in a company and he does not participate in any competing legal person as member of any of its governing bodies. Mr. Paweł Majewski is not listed in the Register of Insolvent Debtors kept pursuant to the National Court Register Act.
