Enea Operator concluded another agreement for co-financing of EU funded investments
Enea Operator signed already the eighth agreement this year for co-financing the investments out of the Community funds. This time the subsidy was awarded to projects implemented in the Zachodniopomorskie Province to increase the potential of the power grid to receive energy from renewable sources on medium and low voltage. The value of the investment is approximately PLN 4.2 million, while the subsidy will amount to over PLN 1.7 million. EU funds will allow e.g. for the application of innovative solutions - transformers installations with automatic voltage regulation during operation.
The contract for co-financing was concluded with the Regional Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Szczecin, acting on behalf of the Marshal’s Office of the Zachodniopomorskie Province. The subsidy was granted under the Regional Operational Programme of the Zachodniopomorskie Province. The rules of the competition permitted the application for subsidies to increase the capacity of the power grid in order to receive energy from renewable sources on medium to low voltage.
- Efforts to obtain funds from the European Union from the current support perspective bring expected results, as evidenced by the conclusion of another co-financing contract. Due to the obtained funds, we can carry out investments on medium and low voltage, including to apply the innovative solution which is transformers with an automatic voltage regulation during operation. Without EU funds, implementing such solutions would be difficult, in the face of many other urgent needs and investment initiatives – said Dariusz Strzelecki, director of the Planning and Development Department in Enea Operator.
- The subsidy comes from the resources at the disposal of the Marshal's Office, which is pleased because it indicates the will to strengthen the power infrastructure of the local government units, which as you can see are not indifferent to the indicated needs and a common interest in strengthening the grid – added director Strzelecki.
