Mirosław Kowalik will become a new president of Enea on 7 January
The company’s Supervisory Board selected the winner in the qualification procedure for the positions of the president and the vice-president of Enea. On 7 January 2016 Mirosław Kowalik will become the president of Enea, and Wiesław Piosik the vice-president for corporate affairs. On the same day the existing vice-presidents of the company, Dalida Gepfert and Grzegorz Kinelski, will cease to perform their functions. The duties of the vice-president for commercial affairs will be temporarily held by the Member of the Supervisory Board, Sławomir Brzeziński.
Mirosław Kowalik is a manager with huge experience in the power sector. Recently, he has been the vice-president and business development director in SNC-Lavalin Polska. Earlier, he was the sales and marketing director in Alstom Power in Poland for many years.
Wiesław Piosik has been connected with the commercial power industry for over 30 years. During 1998-2005 he was e.g. the president of Energetyka Poznańska, and after consolidation - vice-president of Enea. He holds a vast experience in supervising joint-stock companies in fuel and energy sectors, banking and IT. Since 7 December 2015 Wiesław Piosik has been temporarily performing the duties of the president of Enea. On 7 January 2016 the delegation will be revoked, and Wiesław Piosik will hold a new position.
Sławomir Brzeziński has been related to Enea SA since 2008. He is a Member of the company’s Supervisory Board, elected by the employees. Currently, he is the Manager of the Safety and Organisation Department. Previously he was related to e.g. the International Fair of Poznań.
Concurrently, Enea’s Supervisory Board terminated the qualification procedure for the positions of the vice-president for financial affairs and vice-president for commercial affairs without selecting any candidates.
