Enea and Tauron want to develop renewable capacities together

The companies signed a letter of intent relating to the joint implementation of the strategy guaranteeing an optimum method of increasing renewable capacities and financing transactions of acquiring wind assets. Both Enea's and Tauron's strategies foresee the development of renewable energy sources, in particular wind farms.

The letter of intent signed on 2 July foresees the establishment of working teams whose duty will be the development of strategies relating to the cooperation, including in particular the schedule of works and the financial model which is beneficial for the both parties. Any business decisions will be made only based on the results of works performed by working teams.

The intention to cooperate with Tauron is a part of our corporate strategy which guarantees the development of renewable sources, including in particular wind farms. We have been intensely searching for business opportunities to finally increase the share of RES in our portfolio - emphasises the president of Enea, Krzysztof Zamasz.

Having in mind the diverse and international nature of Enea SA's shareholding, and also the provisions of the Best Practices of WSE Listed Companies, Enea SA guarantees the availability of its website also in English. In case of any interpretation doubts and discrepancies between the Polish and English versions, the Polish version shall prevail.
