Granting the license enables undertaking of subsequent actions aiming at the entry of ENEA S.A. to the gas market. The Company is under preparations to conclude an agreement with the Operator of Gas Transmission Pipeline of Gaz-System S.A. and Operator of Distribution System of PGNiG SPV4 Sp. z o.o. In October works will commence over the tariff preparation. First offers will appear at the beginning of next year.

Sales of natural gas will be firstly offered to our frequent business Customers. It will be a supplementation of the offer relating to electricity – says Łukasz Pawłowski, Director of Sales Department of ENEA S.A. – We are thinking of Customers' needs, we analyse and embrace them, presenting new possibilities of cooperation – he adds.

A project of entry into the gas market is anticipated for the following several years. The licence granted on 12 September 2013 will be valid from 1 January 2014 to 31 December 2030. Since November 2012 the license for wholesale trade in gaseous fuels has been already held by ENEA Trading Sp. z o.o.
