New Management Board of ENEA Operator
In connection with the expiry of the term of the hitherto Management Board of ENEA Operator Sp. z o.o., the Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of the Company on 26 June nominated a new Board in the following composition: Michał Jarczyński, President of the Board, Marek Szymankiewicz, Vice-President for Network Infrastructure, Magdalena Bartoś, Vice-President for Financial and Economic Affairs, Jakub Kamyk, Vice-President for Payroll and HR.
In connection with the expiry of the term of the hitherto Management Board of Enea Operator Sp. z o.o., the Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of the Company on 26 June nominated a new Board in the following composition: Michał Jarczyński, President of the Board, Marek Szymankiewicz, Vice-President for Network Infrastructure, Magdalena Bartoś, Vice-President for Financial and Economic Affairs, Jakub Kamyk, Vice-President for Payroll and HR.
The Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders selected people with high competences and rich experience, well prepared to manage a key company within the ENEA Group, realising tasks essential to the domestic power system. The term of the Board is 3 years.
The new Board replaced the Board of the previous term which from 2010 operated in the following composition: Artur Różycki, President of the Board, Grzegorz Kiczmachowski, Vice-President for Financial and Economic Affairs, Artur Kowalczyk, Vice-President for Network Infrastructure. Vice-President for Payroll and HR, Jakub Kamyk, composing the Board of the expiring term, re-elected by employees will continue in his office in the new Board, and Przemysław Zaleski, responsible so far for the trade area, for a month has been managing ENEA Trading Sp. z o.o.
Michał Jarczyński managed production enterprises and consulting companies. From 1998 he worked in Arctic Paper Kostrzyn SA, as a Financial Director, and from 2002 as the President of the Board. During 2009-2013 he was a CEO of an international capital group Arctic Paper, supervising e.g. four heat and power plants (a steam and gas unit in Poland, a hydroelectic power plant and a biomass heat and power plant in Sweden and a heat and power plant operating based on bituminous coal in Germany). He graduated from the studies at the Institute of Machines and Motor Vehicles of the Poznan University of Technology and post-graduate studies within finance at Poznan University of Economics.
Marek Szymankiewicz has been connected with the power industry and ENEA Group from the very beginning of his professional career. During 2001-2002 Member of the Board of Energetyka Poznańska S.A. responsible for trade issues, and during 2003-2006 President of the Board of EnergoPartner Sp. z o.o. - one of the first companies dealing with a wholesale trade in electricity. For 5 years he managed the Trade Department in ENEA S.A., then the Planning and Development Department in ENEA Operator. A graduate of Poznan University of Technology, he completed Management Studies in Wielkopolska Business School and Studies in Electricity Trade Management at Poznań Trade and Commerce College.
Magdalena Bartoś holds over five years of experience in financial management of commercial companies. She commenced her professional career in Ernst&Young. From 2007 connected with PKN Orlen Group. During 2009-2012 Financial Director and Member of the Board of a listed company, Zelmer S.A., and recently she has held a function of the Financial Director of Nike Poland. A graduate of Poznan University of Economics, competed post-graduate studies at University of Warsaw with global development and a series of ACCA examinations.
Jakub Kamyk has been connected with the power industry since 1981. In 2005 he became a head of a Power Post in Gubin, and a year later he was elected the Chairman of Inter-Enterprise Commission of NSZZ Solidarność of ENEA S.A. in Zielona Góra. In 2008, delegated by the team, he became a Member of the Board for Payroll and HR in Enea Operator Sp. z o.o. He graduated from the studies at the Faculty of Mining and Geology of Silesian University of Technology.
Having in mind the diverse and international nature of Enea SA's shareholding, and also the provisions of the Best Practices of WSE Listed Companies, Enea SA guarantees the availability of its website also in English. In case of any interpretation doubts and discrepancies between the Polish and English versions, the Polish version shall prevail.
