New Management Board of ENEA Wytwarzanie S.A.

On 22 February 2013 the Supervisory Board adopted a resolution regarding the nomination to the Management Board of ENEA Wytwarzanie S.A. of Andrzej Schroeder to the position of the President of the Board and Krzysztof Sadowski to the position of the Vice-President of the Board for Technical Issues.

Andrzej Schroeder is a PhD in technical sciences. Connected with the ENEA Group through Elektrociepłownia Białystok S.A. where he holds the position of the President of the Board - General Director. He is a member of the Polish Association of Professional Heat and Power Plants and the Thermodynamics and Combustion Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences.                

Krzysztof Sadowski is a PhD in technical sciences within the environmental engineering. He worked in Zakład Energetyczny Białystok and in Elektrociepłownia Białystok S.A., composing the ENEA Group, e.g. on the position of a Member of the Board - Technical Director and Member of the Board - Strategy and Development Director. He is the author and co-author of 35 publications connected with the energy issues.

ENEA Wytwarzanie S.A. for several months has been a holding structure composing e.g. of the Kozienice Power Plant. In the opinion of the members of the Supervisory Board, the consolidation process being in progress sets new goals and challenges before the Management Board. "We need a dynamic team that thanks to a fresh look will allow us to exceed our competitors and will face the realisation of new demanding tasks.” - said Janusz Bil, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ENEA Wytwarzanie and Vice-President of ENEA S.A. - "We are glad that the nominated members of the Management Board are connected with the ENEA Group and are familiar with the mechanisms of its operations." 

Till the management board is selected during a selection procedure, which should be announced soon, the company will be managed by a four-person team: Andrzej Schroeder, President of the Board,  Krzysztof Sadowski, Vice-President of the Board for Technical Issues,  Renata Czech,  Vice-President of the Board for Economic and Financial Issues and Stanisław Potyra, Vice-President of the Board for Strategy and Development.

At the same time, the Supervisory Board selected a new Chairman, in the person of Krzysztof Zamasz, President of the Board of ENEA S.A.
