Conclusion of the competition for the President of the Board of ENEA S.A.

The Supervisory Board of ENEA S.A. has today adopted a resolution on the nomination, as of 1 January 2013, to the position of the President of the Board of ENEA S.A. of Mr. Krzysztof Zamasz. Till the taking over of the duties by the newly nominated President of the Board the duties of the Issuer's President of the Board will be performed by Mr. Janusz Bil, Vice-President for Commercial Issues.  

Mr. Krzysztof Zamasz is 38 years old and is a PhD in economic sciences. He graduated from post-diploma studies in e.g. atomic power and energy, heat and gas markets, controlling and IT. He commenced his professional career in 1994 and he has been connected with the power sector since 1999. During 2001-2007 the President of the Board of Przedsiębiortswo Energetyki Cieplnej Sp. z o.o., 2007-2008 the President of the Board of Elektrociepłownia Tychy S.A. (TARUON Group), from March 2008 the Vice-President of the Board for Commercial Issues in TAURON Polska Energia S.A. He has been holding the function of the President of the Management Board of Towarzystwo Obrotu Energią in Warsaw, he is also a Member of Consulting Council at Power Industry Parliamentary Team.

He is the author of numerous scientific publications, e.g. from within the heating sector, since 2007 an Assistant-professor, research employee at Business School in Dąbrowa Górnicza.
