In the subsequent years ENEA Operator shall spend over PLN 600 mln for connection of RES
2011 was a record year for ENEA Operator with regard to the number of realised investments. The Company performed the development plan agreed with the President of ERO and spent over PLN 813 mln on investments. It constitutes over 39 per cent more than in 2010, 65 per cent more than in 2009 and 101 per cent more than in 2008.
"In 2011, among others, we continued and commenced new network investments relating to connecting RES in result of which we connected the following to the distribution network of ENEA Operator: 82 MW RES in the II connection group and over 34 MW RES in III connection group. That is a total of over 116 MW power" - said Artur Różycki, the President of the Board.
"During the subsequent years we are planning to continue the investment strategy. These will be investments connected both with connection of RES and new customers to our network, at the same time we will put great attention to the energetic security of our region" - The President Różycki added.
The great activity of the Company within connecting RES to the network is reflected undoubtedly in the volume of power which was connected and is planned to be connected during the next few years to ENEA Operator's network. The value is at the level of 2,890 MW. Detailed information within this scope the Company presents in the publication prepared according to Article 7 item 81 of the Energy Law published on www.operator.enea.pl.
Outlays for network ins in ENEA Operator means also modernisation and replacement of the assets, mainly in order to ensure improvement of efficiency, reliability and quality of supplies of electricity, and also proper realisation of the obligations resulting from the licence held by the Company for providing energy distribution services and the role of the distribution system operator on the area of the Company's activity.
