ENEA advances to next round of Issuer's Golden Website 2010 competition

The first round of the Issuer's Golden Website 2010 competition (Złota Strona Emitenta) has ended, and ENEA S.A. has been placed among 57 companies qualifying for the second round.

The aim of the competition is to promote the best websites of companies listed on the stock exchange. Winning websites should be contemporary, user-friendly and effective, for they serve as a communications link between an issuer and its investors, shareholders and the business community.

In the first round of the competition, the jury evaluated the websites of 522 Polish and foreign public companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange or the NewConnect market as at 1 July 2010. A record 57 companies qualified for the second round. The competition is divided into five categories. ENEA S.A. was placed among 12 companies listed on the WIG20 and mWIG40 indexes.

Last Thursday, 5 August, the second round got under way. This time only the three best companies in each category will be selected. The jury is composed of specialists from eight fields, with four jurors looking at each criterion. The jurors will assess each website in terms of clarity, content, innovativeness, appropriate use of technology, and feedback from individual and institutional investors. The results of the second round will be announced on 6 September, and the jury's final announcement and presentation of awards to the winners of the Issuer's Golden Website 2010 competition will take place on 1 October during the Fifth Polish Association of Listed Companies Congress of Management Boards of Listed Companies.

Having in mind the diverse and international nature of Enea SA's shareholding, and also the provisions of the Best Practices of WSE Listed Companies, Enea SA guarantees the availability of its website also in English. In case of any interpretation doubts and discrepancies between the Polish and English versions, the Polish version shall prevail.
