The first three months of 2012 proved very successful for the energy Capital Group. ENEA reported a two digit growth of EBITDA in comparison with the same period of 2011. A positive first quarter is a good forecaster for the subsequent months. 

Analysts of Dom Maklerski PKO BP in the report of 25 April maintained the "Buy" recommendation for ENEA power company and set the 12-month target price at the level of PLN 18.

The year of 2011 turned out to be especially successful for the power group which generated as much as PLN 9.69 bln revenues, i.e. by 23.6 per cent more than a year earlier. The Group also realised key investments and acquisitions, including the acquisition of the Bialystok Heat and Power Plant and numerous projects connected with renewable energy sources. 

On 25 April 2012, 11.30 a.m., in the Kozienice Power Plant tenders were opened which were filed in the procedure for granting of the utilities contact through negotiations with an offer for the "Construction of a supercritical power unit fired with bituminous coal with the net electric power of the minimum of 900 MWe and maximum of 1,000 MWe in Elektrownia "Kozienice" S.A."

ENEA S.A. signed a final agreement for the purchase of the Bardy wind farm. The object has substantially increased the ENEA Group’s capacity of generation from renewable sources since the farm will generate around 150,000 MWh of green electricity annually. This is sufficiently enough to ensure energy to 50,000 of medium-sized households.

Analysts of the BZ WBK brokerage house, in the report of 18 April, re-issued the "Buy" recommendation for the shares of ENEA S.A. The target price was fixed at the level of PLN 19.20.
